An App for Connection and Meaning

Social app Retro encourages genuine personal connections in a new way. tmpl Studio was brought in to create promotional videos for their new "Journals" feature—a feature that allows users to document and share meaningful moments with loved ones. Our goal was to highlight the feature's ease of use and emotional value, boost user engagement, and reinforce Retro's brand identity as a privacy-conscious and user-focused platform.

Strategy and Execution

We developed a strategy that focused on creating an emotional connection through relatable real-life scenarios. The videos combined lifestyle footage with direct app interactions to show how easily and effectively moments could be captured and shared. We used the storyline of two creative friends, located on opposite sides of the world, each exploring their craft.
